Privacy Policy

Account details. Your email address, a password (stored only as a salted hash, never in readable form), and optionally your first name, last name and a public username.

What you create. The strategies you write, their backtests, and the simulated orders, positions and profit-and-loss produced when you run one in paper mode.

Sessions. When you sign in we store a hashed session token, a device label, and the times the session was created and last used, so you can see and revoke your signed-in devices.

Broker connections. If you connect a broker account, the access credentials that broker issues are stored encrypted. We never see or store your broker password. Broker connection is not available in the Android app.

Server logs. Ordinary web server records: IP address, the request made, and which app build made it. These exist to operate the service and diagnose faults.

No location data. No contacts, photos, files or microphone access. No advertising identifier, and no advertising of any kind. We do not use third-party analytics or crash-reporting services, so nothing about your use of the app is sent anywhere except to AlgoVend's own servers.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

To create and secure your account, to run the strategies and backtests you ask for, to show you the results, and to send you transactional email — password resets and account notices. We do not send marketing email unless you ask us to.

Only the services required to run AlgoVend: DigitalOcean hosts the application and database, Cloudflare serves traffic, and Resend delivers transactional email. If you connect a broker, requests you initiate are sent to that broker.

We may disclose information where the law requires it. Nothing else is shared.

On servers in India (Bengaluru). Data is encrypted in transit. Backups are retained for a limited period for recovery.

For as long as your account exists. Delete your account and we delete your personal details, strategies, backtests and paper trading records, except where we are required to retain something by law. Server logs are kept for a short operational period and then discarded.

You can view and correct your details in settings, revoke any signed-in device, and disconnect a broker at any time.

AlgoVend is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

If this policy changes materially we will update the date above and, where the change affects you, tell you in the product.
